Meet the founders

Kindra Davison

An AFPA Certified Nutrition and Wellness Consultant with a degree in Community Health, Kindra has helped hundreds of people understand what their own bodies are trying to tell them. She has spent a decade in exhaustive research and personal health hacking to obtain dietary solutions to her own autoimmune disease as well as coaching others to optimal health, even after diagnoses such as fibromyalgia, diabetes, and arthritis. Employing multiple scientifically-based approaches, she has coalesced her findings and experiences to create the nutritional basis for this company. When not deep in research, Kindra enjoys traveling, wine and cheese tastings with friends and family, crocheting, and listening to audio books of her favorite author, Agatha Christie.

Shawna Bonaby

Once a skeptic, but now a believer, Shawna is a recent New York transplant who has spent her career in the accounting field, most recently as Corporate Controller managing a corporate networking events business with more than 200 events throughout the United States and Canada. She has worked in the finance industry for more than two decades in controller roles, as a financial consultant, and as an entrepreneur. She has degrees in Business Management and Accounting, enjoys outdoor living, entertaining with her husband, and quiet time with a good book, a large cup (pot?) of coffee, and smooth jazz playing in the background.

Our Story

Shawna and Kindra are sisters who grew up in small town Oregon. While their life paths diverged considerably, they both suffered with mysterious health symptoms and chronic health conditions that only got worse with age.


As a preteen, I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis and dealt with serious joint pain and swelling, even undergoing surgery at age 13 to remove enormous bone spurs from both feet. I managed to make it to adulthood without needing any serious pain medications or further surgeries, but thanks to a few years of less than optimal lifestyle choices in college, my arthritis symptoms returned with a vengeance, and this time they brought along friends, in the form of dry, itchy rashes and headaches every evening.

As painful as the joint issues were, it was really the rashes that changed the direction of my life. Being naturally vain, as the rashes increased in frequency and surface area, I started to panic that they might reach my face, so I went to an allergy specialist/dermatologist for help. “Help” came in the form of a prescription drug, which was delivered by the doctor with a casual mention that it may ruin my liver, and the statement “if this doesn’t help, you’re just a person who gets rashes.”

Needless to say, that drug did not cure the rashes. It did, however, cure me of doctors and prescription drugs. Immediately upon returning home from that appointment, I began to desperately search for my own answers, and the search continues, even 10 years later. I now enjoy life nearly symptom-free, and am dedicated to making sure everyone else can, too.


Although my background and education wouldn’t naturally lend themselves to leading a nutrition-centric start-up, life has an interesting way of creating the perfect space for you, doesn’t it?

Diagnosed with hypothyroidism at two years old, I have spent literally my whole life attempting to crack the code to keep my fluctuating weight, dry as a bone skin, and depressive tendencies under control. Failing miserably most of the time, I might add, which definitely didn’t help the depression.

In addition, endometriosis has been my constant companion since my early teens – with all the accoutrements: painful and heavy periods, sometimes lasting months at a time, back pain, and constipation. Couple that with being really good at growing fibroid tumors and I had all the makings of an uncomfortably painful adulthood. Oh, and I was keeping the makers of Aleve in business. Then in my mid-30s, while under intense career-related stress I had what I thought was a heart attack. It turned out to be severe anxiety, but was the point at which I put my foot down – hard. I had to find a better way to control these conditions that were controlling me.

Fast forward a few years and tens of thousands of dollars-worth of eastern and western medicine, healing arts, tinctures, and trainers, supplements, and diet regimens, and I was still experiencing all of the symptoms and more. This is where Kindra started vocalizing her findings. This is when the tide turned for me.

First, I tossed every blessed supplement I’d ever purchased, and through nutrition alone, guided my body back from the abyss. I’m happy to report that I’ve never felt better, no longer suffer from endometriosis, hypothyroid symptoms, or anxiety. I couldn’t have gotten to this place without this program. I had to be part of getting this product to market so others could benefit.
